Elder Melvin L. Latimer has been doing the work of the Lord for over 25 years. He currently is a member of the Greater Mount Calvary Church in Washington, DC under the covering of Bishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr.

He is president and founder of Men On A Mission Worldwide Ministries, Inc. MOAM, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation that empowers men to be godly influences in their homes, churches, communities, and the world at large.

He is also the author of two publications: a book - "A Promise a Day" (a daily devotional) and a booklet - "How to Go Through with Joy".

Elder Latimer attended the Washington Bible College, pursuing a B.A. in Religious Education. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Religious Arts from Logos Christian College.

Elder Latimer is married to Elder Sharron B. Latimer and is the father of four children and one adopted daughter. He is also known as Pop-Pop to his three grandsons. Elder Latimer is an annointed man of God who walks in the five-fold ministry.
